In our backpacks, hands and cupholders, water bottles have become somewhat of a companion for many students. With this, we see many trends come and go, but why have certain ones stuck around?
Hydrojug
Hydrojug has become a popular brand recently with its no-spill feature and cute designs. Its prominent presence on social media has helped it gain popularity as people see their favorite influencers with their Hydrojugs. No matter the size, the Hydrojug is designed to fit into your cup holder and be convenient for day-to-day activities or workouts. With their amazing insulation and wide range of sizes, Hydrojugs are perfect for long days.
Owala
Owala is also a newer brand that gained recognition for its dual design, allowing you to sip and swig from one water bottle lid. This brand offers many fun colors, patterns and designs which appeal to nearly every person. Owalas are easily accessible and attractive to consumers across the country due to their ready availability in many different stores. One downside of Owalas is that if you want a larger Freesip, it may not fit in most cupholders. Owalas are fun, unique and deserving of their quickly gained popularity.
Stanley
Stanleys became a very popular brand from 2020-24, gaining popularity online and making its way into everyone’s hands. They come in nearly 90 different colors and are very functional. One downside to the Stanley without the flip straw is that it spills when accidentally knocked over or bumped. Though that is a downside to that design, many of the flip straw bottles are just as cute and perfect for a workout or school.
Hydro Flask
Usually associated with VSCO girls, Hydro Flasks gained popularity around 2019. They paved the way for the reusable water bottles and being more mindful of the environment. More people consider buying a reusable water bottle rather than wasting plastic. The only downside to these stainless steel bottles is that they may be too bulky for some, especially as newer and lighter brands emerge. Though Hydro Flasks are not the most recent water bottle trend, people still carry them around since they have become a staple.
