Nicole Schmitz is a senior at LHS and a second-year staff member for the Statesman. When not writing for the Statesman, she is involved in activities such as LHS volleyball and National Honor Society. Outside of school, you could find her laughing with friends, binge-watching “Criminal Minds” or napping. Schmitz is a strong believer that ice cream and coffee make for a good day. And every day is a good day to have a good day, so, like, want to go get ice cream?
