Sioux Falls, South Dakota is a very diverse place with many interesting places to go especially downtown Sufu. Downtown is a popular place for all ages of people to hang out, walk around and just enjoy the atmosphere. There is a lot of diverse ethnic restaurants to eat at and a multitude of shops to explore.

Lot 2029 is one of the best boutique places to shop in downtown Sioux Falls. It has shoes, clothes, jewelry and accessories. The prices can be a little higher than normal stores, but that is expected of any boutique downtown. The higher-than-average prices are well worth the cost because the quality is exceptional, and I personally love all the pieces I have bought from them. Lot 2029 is located right by the Diner-just across the street and to the left.

CH Patisserie is one of the best selling French bakeries in downtown Sioux Falls. It has an aesthetic vibe on the inside and the outside. Its little fancy delicacies set it apart from any other bakery, but the macaroons are really what everyone comes for. Most of the time the bakery has seasonally themed macarons which are to die for, but my personal favorite is the cookies and cream macaron. It is the best spot to celebrate a small birthday or just a casual spot to go with friends.

In the winter, the perfect place to be is Falls Park. Especially nearing the Christmas time, they set up lights all around the park and even have a Christmas radio station playing during park hours. The Falls is one of the most popular places known to Sioux Falls. It contains the Queen Bee Mill, Observation Tower, Stockyard Ag Experience Barn and the Falls Overlook Cafe. The Falls is especially popular with students who want to take their senior pictures there.

Really any place in downtown Sioux Falls is an awesome place to go. The atmosphere is great even when just walking around and window shopping. There are a lot of nice fancy restaurants that are perfect for any special occasion such as Crave, McKenzie River and Minerva’s. Or instead of going all out just go for something casual like Mama Ladas, Queen City bakery or Fiero’s Pizza. Going anywhere downtown is a guaranteed way to have fun, especially on holidays when there is decorations and parades everywhere.
