With a New Year comes time for resolutions and trying to find ways to improve your life and well being, but look no further than a drive down Western to arrive at Daily Clean Food and Drink a restaurant which is sure to please your palate and those New Years goals.

When I first imagined Daily Clean Food and Drink, I envisioned the typical food associated with healthy options. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Brussel sprouts, broccoli and other boring veggies notorious for being healthy options are certainly on the menu, but when I stumbled upon, Daily Clean Food and Drink, located on 69th and Western, I was proven wrong about what I considered these staple foods to be. What I once found to be utterly non-stimulating and uneventful, had twisted into an explosion of different colors and tastes surrounding my tastebuds, inspiring

me to incorporate more foods like this into my everyday diet.

While healthy food is not always known for it’s looks, Daily Clean Food and Drink serves their food in an aesthetic manner. However, the food itself is also a treat you won’t want to miss out on. It stimulates sight and taste.

The restaurant has a bright and cheery atmosphere with a modern vibe that invites you in immediately. Additionally, it is very clean and has seating both on the main floor, upstairs and notably a patio for opportunities to enjoy your meal, snack or beverage outdoors during warmer days of the year. You could spend as little or as much time at Daily Clean Food and Drink as you want with its casual style of ordering up front and having the food be brought back to your seat. You can also keep up with the crew of staff members and the restaurant itself through various social media outlets like Instagram, which they post on almost every day with the handle of @dailycleanfoodanddrink.

The restaurant opened up about a month ago and is noted for rounding up many of the city’s most adamant health food junkies, vegans, hippies, hipsters, etc., but what they will ultimately aim to see more of is the general public. What Daily Clean Food and Drink is seeking is to get more people interested and informed about what their business has to offer.

“Food and drink; we keep it clean & simple, it’s healthier that way.’ Coffee, smoothies, breakfast, lunch, beer, wine and small plates. We prepare our food and drinks fresh, using local, organic ingredients whenever possible, because we believe that what goes in our food and where it comes from matters to the environment, our community and to your health. Join us daily for clean food and drink!”

Daily Clean Food and Drink could change the life of its consumers by providing a fresh outlet for healthy lifestyle options. Although I found the food to be a bit on the pricier side of the spectrum, I also found it to be worth the extra cash. I knew that the food I had paid for was of quality substance, something both satisfying and comforting to a consumer. I definitely plan to go back and explore more of their menu. The restaurant is also rather unique because it can be a tasty stop for almost everyone. Daily Clean Food and Drink has vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, keto, paleo, low carb, low sugar, low calories, grain-free, nut-free options, as well as options for people who are unconcerned with any allergens, which ensures that they can meet almost everyone’s dining needs.

I’m so glad that Sioux Falls has the privilege of welcoming this healthy corner into our city. This small business has the potential to make a big change and positive impact into the lives many Sioux Falls citizens.
