    New spicy drinks at Starbucks

New spicy, tangy and exotic refreshers come in Draginfruit, Piannaple and Strawberry.

If you are a Starbucks enthusiast like me, I can understand how exciting the new spicy refreshers may be for you. It was first introduced on April 16, and it seems to have caught the attention of many Starbucks lovers. The drinks are even trending on TikTok, while also causing a bit of controversy, with some debating on whether they’re worth trying or not.

If you are a fan of Starbucks’ normal refreshers and are looking to add a bit of a kick to your drink, you will want to try the Spicy Refreshers. They are essentially the normal refreshers, such as dragon fruit, pineapple and strawberry açai, but with an additional Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend added to them.

As someone who has tried the spicy dragon fruit refresher, I can say that it has a kick to it, but it is not too overpowering. The dragon fruit flavor still shines through, and the spicy chili powder adds an interesting balance of flavor. Some customers have expressed that the spice level is not as high as they were expecting, while others find the taste to be overpowering. It is a unique twist on the classic refreshers, and, depending on your palette, it is worth trying anytime you’re feeling a bit adventurous.

Along with the spicy refreshers, Starbucks has also come out with a spicy cream cold foam. Just like the refreshers, this topping is creating many controversies, having people question if something spicy even belongs in their favorite Starbucks coffee. While I appreciate the effort to create something unique and bold, it just didn’t feel like it belonged in a coffee beverage. I think I will just stick to the refreshers when I want something to spice it up.

Overall, the new spicy refreshers and cold foam at Starbucks are worth a try if you are a fan of the classic refreshers or just want to get out of your comfort zone!
