Logan Sanborn is a senior, second-year staff member and News Editor for the Statesman. In school, Sanborn is involved in many organizations. From being the cross country team manager to a member of the powerlifting team and a participant in Pathways to Careers, she makes sure to keep busy. Outside of school, Sanborn is also active in YoungLife, a kids ministry as well as leading KidCo of Brandon.
Kinsley Ernster is a senior, second-year staff member and a Feature Editor for the Statesman. Ernster is involved in NHS and manages the LHS wrestling team. She loves to watch and learn more about the sport. Outside of school, Ernster enjoys listening to music, watching movies, going to concerts, binging old TV series, spending time with the people she loves and going on late-night drives while blasting Taylor Swift. In the future, she dreams of having endless amounts of money to travel the world.
Katie Kroeze has been the Statesman adviser since 2013, started advising the Yearbook in 2017 and is a journalism junkie. She has her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Dakota, her master’s degree from Southwest Minnesota State University and is currently obtaining a doctorate degree at USD. Kroeze has on several occasions used painful, horrible puns in headlines and in her daily conversations, but she is convinced that it is a sign of intelligence.
