Lauren Statema is a sophomore, first-year staff writer for the Statesman. She is involved in student council, Spanish Immersion, HOSA, Best Buddies, SNHS and SALSA. When Statema is not studying for her next AP Chemistry test, she can be found hitting golf balls at the range, restocking her energy drink supply or cheering loudly for LHS and the Vikings.

Lily Statema is a sophomore, first-year staff writer for the Statesman. She is involved in tennis, track, Spanish Immersion and Best Buddies. She can be found planning her next trip, convincing herself she is a good singer and going to hot yoga classes. In the future, Statema hopes to attend college somewhere warm and secure a high-paying job to fund her daily fun drinks.
