Mara Tiede is a senior and first-year staff writer for the Statesman. Aside from Statesman, you can find Tiede showing off her moves on the LHS competitive dance team. Tiede also has a slight addiction to wasting her tip money on iced matcha lattes, watermelon Celsius or Hy-Vee sushi. In her free time Tiede enjoys cuddling with her puppies Maizie and Sully while watching any reality TV show or another current favorite, “Modern Family.”
