Kate McCartney, Editor-in-Chief

Kate McCartney is a senior, second-year staff member and one of the five Editors-in-Chief for the Statesman. In her free time at LHS, she serves as NEHS Secretary as well as Environmental Ingenuity Club Co-President. She is also involved in SALSA, NHS and Yoga Club. As an avid iced tea drinker, McCartney can probably be found at Starbucks when she is not (or when she is) writing stories. She loves being on-the-go (preferably out of town), listening to The Lumineers and eating Crumbl Cookies with fellow staff member Taylor Schmitz.
