Yairis Alvarado is senior and a first-year Statesman writer. She spends her time re-watching “Glee” and “Criminal Minds.” She is in involved in Oral Interp, Senior Class Treasurer and vice president of Young Progressives Club. When she is not busy working on AP Latin, she spends the rest of her time re-listening to all of Amy Winehouse's album.
