Kate Matthes, Editor-in-Chief
Kate Matthes is a senior, third-year staff writer and an Editor-in-Chief for the Statesman. Matthes is a part of the Youth Action Council for SALSA and is the Vice President of Young Progressives Club. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading and binge-watching “Gilmore Girls.” When she is not listening to NPR, she will take any opportunity to travel and see new places.
